She has been awarded Bronze medal (second in order) for MS ophthalmology from PGI, Chandigarh.

She has various publications in indexed national and international peer reviewed journals and an active participant in various CMEs and conferences.

Dr. Kalpita Das completed her medical graduate degree course (MBBS) from Calcutta National Medical College in 2011 Post-graduate degree course (MS) from Prestigious PGI, Chandigarh in 2015 and has been awarded Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in 2016. She has also cleared FRCS (Glasgow) Part 1 in 2015 and ICO examinations Part 1 & 2 in 2017. She underwent Clinical fellowship in Vitreoretina from Medical Research Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya from 2016-2018 and underwent training in Ocular Oncology from the same institute in 2019-2020. She is working as an Associate Consultant, Vitreoretina and Ocular Oncology services in Sankara Nethralya since 2018.
